week 16 - week 21 |
This weekend I graduated to week 21. I would say it is going good but I caught a cold and have been feeling pretty lousy since Sunday. I can tell you that being sick while pregnant is horrible. The worst part of it is lack of sleep. It is nearly impossible to find a comfortable position while pregnant and stuffed up. I called in sick on Monday and relaxed most of the day. Today I had to go to work though. There was no one to cover my shift same with tomorrow. Boo. I guess it is better to be at work doing something than just sitting at home trying to sleep unsuccessfully.
In the above picture there is 6 weeks of growth and really I don't see much, I definitely feel it though.
week 21
Your baby -- currently the length of a carrot -- weighs about 3/4 of a pound. (Length: 10 1/2 inches, head to heel.) |
Your baby now weighs about three-quarters of a pound and is approximately 10 1/2 inches long — the length of a carrot. You may soon feel like she's practicing martial arts as her initial fluttering movements turn into full-fledged kicks and nudges. You may also discover a pattern to her activity as you get to know her better. In other developments, your baby's eyebrows and lids are present now, and if you're having a girl, her vagina has begun to form as well.

whats with all the "she" stuff..and "her vagina is begun to form", it could be a boy ya know.
I just copy paste the wedsite. Sometimes its uses she and sometimes it uses he.
You know I want a boy too...
Congratulations on week 21! You are over halfway there!
And I totally agree- being sick and pregnant is the pits.
Thank you so much for your encouraging comment on my blog. It is good to know that there is another healthy lady carry baby low-- and it is perfectly normal. Yeah, ligament pain sucks! I am praying you feel better, too! I totally sympathize.
Love,
Mandy
So are you going to find out if you're having a boy or girl?? Last I checked most people (including us) thought you were going to have a girl, but it sounds like you're both hoping for a boy...
