Today I feel PREGNANT.

I have spent a lot of time in my bed the last couple of weeks with a sinus infection.  But I am happy to report that I have antibiotics and am starting to feel A LOT better!!!
week 21, 22 and 23
Look at that.  I swear my belly grew over night.  Yesterday I didn't feel as pregnant as I feel today.  I have a car that is pretty low to the ground and for the first time it was hard getting in and out of it.  When I took this picture, uploaded it and compared it to the others I couldn't believe how much bigger it was.  INSANE, and it only going to get BIGGER....
Tonight Dan and I have our "Birthing from Within" class.  I really like the class and am getting lots of useful information from it.  I also love how it draws Dan and I closer.  When we go it feels more like WE are pregnant and not just I am pregnant!

I thought it would be cute to post some picture's of Dan and I when we were little.

week 23

Here we are, week 23 and I still have a nasty cold.  I think I will be making a doctor's appointment on Monday to make sure it isn't anything more than a cold.  I did buy a humidifier and use it while I am sleeping, its AWESOME!  I don't wake up in the middle of the night or in the morning with "fire lung."
We have been attending the "Birthing from Within" birthing class on Wednesdays for the past two weeks.  Its a pretty awesome class and we are learning a lot from it.  We use ice to practice pain coping skills, which I think will be super helpful come labor/birth time.
With my cold aside I feel pretty good.  The only thing I am really experiencing that could be pregnancy related is some emotional stuff and a cloudy mind.  Which still could just be related to my cold.  Here's to hoping this pregnancy continues to be uneventful!
Your baby weighs about as much as a large mango -- just over a pound. (Length: more than 11 inches.)
week 23
Turn on the radio and sway to the music. With her sense of movement well developed by now, your baby can feel you dance. And now that she's more than 11 inches long and weighs just over a pound (about as much as a large mango), you may be able to see her squirm underneath your clothes. Blood vessels in her lungs are developing to prepare for breathing, and the sounds that your baby's increasingly keen ears pick up are preparing her for entry into the outside world. Loud noises that become familiar now — such as your dog barking or the roar of the vacuum cleaner — probably won't faze her when she hears them outside the womb.

the goods

On my recent trip to Montana my Dad, my sister Jessica and I picked up some goodies for the bean in my belly.  It is all just too cute not to share!

some blabla dolls, thanks Dad!

this is from H&M, I think this will be the beans first outfit (don't hold me to it though)

clothes, shoes, books, hats, toys

even if the bean is a girl it will be wearing these motorcycle clothes, thanks Jessica

I have been collecting clothes and such from the consignment shop in town.  But when it comes down to baby gear all I have is a car seat and 12 cloth diapers.  I got the Britax Boulevard convertible car seat in all black, well my dad got it for me!  I need to start picking up all the necessary baby gear I am going to need before this little bean arrives.  I have four months to get it all figured out.  I started by creating a baby registry at Amazon and Target.  I am just sort of using it as a file to keep all the things I want in one area.  Your welcome to check it out if you like.  I linked it in the sidebar ---> right over there, below the poll for the gender of our baby.

The Big Sky State

Taylor and Sammie
I recently took a quick trip down to Montana to visit my sister and nieces.  It was Sammie's 8th birthday and that is whas motivated the trip.  It was awesome going down there and seeing where they are living.  I haven't been there since they moved in October of last year.  Montana is beautiful in a different way than Alaska is.  The rolling hills where a nice change of scenery, and the way the trees grow on only one side of the hill was pretty neat.  I did get to experience a lightning and thunder storm while I was there which was AWESOME.  I haven't seen one of those since I was a little kid.  I loved visiting with my little nieces, its always such a special time.  Since it was Sammie's birthday we took her shopping and let her get whatever she wanted (within reason).  We all also go Taylor something too.  Anyway I loved being able to spend some quality time with my family, here are some pictures from my trip.
(lots and lots of photo's below)
excuse the boogies, but I think they make the picture
