update

So its been sunny since the 23rd of this month. My wish for sun came true!!! It has been marvelous, I sun burnt my scalp. I'v never done that before and I don't recommend it, its very painful. At first I thought I fell and hit my head so hard I didn't remember falling. Then I looked in the mirror and saw my scalp was super bright red. It feels a lot better now!! Oh, so this last Sunday after church a bunch of people including myself and Dan went out False outer'ish BBQ'ed and had a great time in the sun (thats where I burnt my head). On our way home Dan and I drove by someones driveway and saw a "78 VW bus for sale. Man o man, we bought it!!! haha, Its cute and putts along. It needs a tune up and has a little exhaust leak, but nothing MAJOR (so far). Ill post a picture later! Anyway it super sunny again today and is published to be sunny for the next 5 days or so.........Sooo... Im going to go out and enjoy it!!!

the weather

is really starting to get on my nerves. Im finding it kind of hard to stay in a positive mood. It has been raining or really cloudy for almost 4 weeks straight now. Its late May and we haven't had a sunny day yet this month. Also its VERY cold, we are lucky if it makes it above 50 degrees. I haven't taken my gloves out of my purse yet cause I still feel the need for them. I seriously want to cry because I'm so cold all the time, and am sick of wearing my winter attire. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be sunny, at least for just one day!!!

Married life.

I thought it would feel a lot different now that we are married, but it pretty much feels the same. Which I think is a good thing. It is nice knowing who will be by my side the rest of my life. Everyone keeps asking me if we will be having children soon. Hmmm, why do people think that you should have children the moment you get married. I feel strongly that once you get married you should try to spend a minimum of a year with just the two of you before you go adding more humans to your mix. Its wise to get to know one another better before you add a child to everyting. So the answer is "someday, not soon" to that question. Plus we have Jack and he like a child, just a furry one that you can legally leave at home alone in a crate!

We got Married in the rain on May 3rd. Typical weather for Juneau, but it was still beautiful. We all walked out there while it wasn't raining, so we had high hope's of no rain during the ceremony. But..... As soon as everyone got changed the wind started up and the sky started to pour on us. Luckily we got umbrellas so everyone stayed remotely dry. The ceremony was rather quick (fastest one anyone saw Mick perform). Once the ceremony was over and Dan and I were officially Dan and Ashleigh EWING everyone ran for the tent.... anyway here's some pictures.

The reception was wonderful, lots of close friends and family came to celebrate with us. It was a good turn out, about 50 or so people. I dont think I've ever seen so many people in Mick and Sherrie's house. It was a great gathering for such a beautiful celebration. Dan and I got a room at "Grandma's feather bed". It was sweet, DeAnna set to room up with rose pedals and sparkleing cider! Also a very sweet mood setting CD. It was a beautiful day and it will turn into a beautiful memory that I will enjoy telling people in the future.
