week 26

week 26 belly
ONLY 98 DAYS LEFT
We are still having a very uneventful pregnancy and are praying for it to continue being uneventful.  I think it's the only thing in life people pray to be uneventful.
I have been trying to stay somewhat active, but with the absolute horrendous weather we have been having its getting a little more challenging to get out and do something.  So, I am searching for an exercise bike.  When I had a gym membership the bikes were my favorite.  I could stay on them forever and just read.  Crossing my fingers I find one for free!
I noticed the number of times I wake up to pee in the middle of the night is increasing.  I lost count of how many times I woke up to pee last night, I feel like it was at least once an hour.  Also, I have been trying super hard to stay sleeping on my left side or well either side.  Before I was pregnant I was a stomach/back sleeper.  I keep waking up finding myself on my back, which is causing me some lower back pain.  Normally I can stretch it out in the morning and feel much better but I would really like to just skip the process.  I bought a body pillow and it has helped keep me on my side a little, I think I need some sort of wedge to put behind me to keep me from rolling onto my back.
On a fellow pregnant bloggers blog she had this question answer thing and I thought it would be fun to use it as well, so here we go...
How far along? 26 weeks

Total weight gain/loss? on my last prenatal appointment the tally was 8 pounds.

Stretch marks? absolutely none (yet!).

Sleep? I get a lot of sleep, around 8 or more hours but it is interrupted a number of times to uses the bathroom.

Movement? The baby moves all the time, day and night.

Food cravings/aversions? No cravings yet, but I can't eat raw onions without getting sick.

Gender? Its a surprise.

Labor signs? none yet

Belly button in/out? It is mostly flat.

What I miss the most right now: Sleeping on my tummy.

What I am looking forward to: Meeting out little bean and cherishing the first few moments of our new family member.

What Baby Center had to say this week:

The network of nerves in your baby's ears is better developed and more sensitive than before. He may now be able to hear both your voice and your partner's as you chat with each other. He's inhaling and exhaling small amounts of amniotic fluid, which is essential for the development of his lungs. These so-called breathing movements are also good practice for when he's born and takes that first gulp of air. And he's continuing to put on baby fat. He now weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches (an English hothouse cucumber) from head to heel. If you're having a boy, his testicles are beginning to descend into his scrotum — a trip that will take about two to three days.

LOVE reading your Blog. Your messages and pics are always so beautiful. So happy to hear your pregnancy is going great for you. I exp discomfort in all 3 of mine but wouldn't change a minute as these munchkins of mine are my entire world, if given the opportunity to go back I actually wouldn't change a thing. I belive I am a stronger person today because of each challenge that was placed in front of me. I am over the moon happy with being a parent and I know you too will feel that way. Being a mother is refreshing, AMAZING, simply a blessing and I tresure and cherish everyday. I am so happy for you sweetie, you will make a FANTASTIC mommy for you precious addition!
