week 15

week 15
Your growing baby now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces (about the size of an apple). Baby is busy moving amniotic fluid through the nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in the lungs begin to develop. Baby's legs are growing longer than the arms now, and baby can move all of it's joints and limbs. Although the eyelids are still fused shut, baby can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, baby is likely to move away from the beam. There's not much for your baby to taste at this point, but taste buds are forming. Finally, if you have an ultrasound this week, you may be able to find out whether your baby's a boy or a girl!

I recently ran into this blog. If you haven't seen it before take a look it'll make you smile. Dan thinks its kinda creepy but I think its cute. Its a mother who's maternity leave hobby is trying to capture what she imagines her baby is dreaming while napping.

I have a sick dog with swollen ears and face who is throwing up all the time. Hopefully the Vet can give us some answers and help him feel better. Oh yeah, and Dans cat is in heat and annoying the crap out of me. She just keeps meowing day and night, ugh I really don't like cats.
I can't believe it is already August, where has time gone?
