Painted nails

When I was in JR. High School I promised myself I would NEVER paint my nails again. I came to this decision because I hated, hated, hated the way nail polish looks when chipped on nails. I hated the way it looks on me and the way it look on everyone else. I never wanted to be 'the girl with chipped nail polish' haha, funny when I think about it now. "The girl with chipped nail polish" sounds like a bad book name. Anyway, the other day I was at the store and was checking out the nail polish and decided I would give painted nail another try. I chose RED, cause well red nails just sounded AWESOME. I painted them and I love them. I feel sad that I let myself go through the past 12 years without painted nails.
My finger's feel so beautiful. I LOVE COLOR.

SLR camera anyone?

D5000 25452

D5000

Smart. Sharp.
Simply Brilliant.

Compact and powerful, the D5000 is a remarkable blend of simplicity and advanced D-SLR capabilities with breathtaking 12.3-megapixel image quality

Ringing in at $629.95 it might be possible to ask for it for Christmas. We'll see, I would just really like something to be able to capture better quality photo's. My iPhone (which I use for 90% of the photo's posted on this blog) and my Nikon coolpix do a good job, but this would do better and well, I want better. If I am going to start a family, I am going to need a quality camera to take quality photo's to save forever.
