Ruby put herself to sleep....

I can't believe I just typed that.  

I let Dan eat his dinner, a delicious curry soup that some wonderful friends brought by, while I held and rocked her.  When Dan was done I ate my dinner while Dan changed her diaper and put her in her swaddle blanket.  Dan then just left her on the bed while he folded his laundry and put it away.  She just laid there quietly.  Once he was finished he turned the light off and left the room.  She continued to lay there and fall asleep without crying for one of us to come in there.  AMAZING.....

 

my little girl is growing up...

Last night...

Ruby only woke up twice!!!!

I know, I know I am not going to get all super duper crazy excited about this.  I am sure it will NEVER happen again.  But I still have to brag about my little girl letting me get some sleep!  She went to sleep at around 8:00ish and slept solid until 1:24 this morning, CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?  Then she went back to sleep, after a calm quite nursing session, and slept until 4:31.  Then she quietly nursed again and didn't wake up until 7:44 this morning!  

As much as I wish every night would be like this from here on, I know it wont.

Since I actually felt rested when I got up this morning I made myself some breakfast!

It was nice having a hot breakfast today! 

Now I think we are going to go downtown to join Dan for lunch.

 My mom left today *insert sad face here* so now it is just be and Ruby in the daytime now.  

We had our co-ed baby shower last night.  It was awesome, they should always be co-ed.  We were graciously blessed with lots of things for Ruby!  She is so loved by our fellowship.
