Winter Wonderland

It has been snowing here since Saturday and its foretasted to snow more!
On Sunday we took advantage of the Mendenhall Lake being frozen and walked out on it with some friends Nate, Annie and Jackson.
It was beautiful so beautiful and kind of warm feeling.  There were scattered clouds and every once in a while the sun and some blue sky would peek through.
Our friends brought a little baby sled and let Ruby try it out.  Dan pulled her fast, slow, down hills, over bumpy ice and anything else he could find.  Ruby didn't really have much reaction to the sled ride.

Dan licked the icebergs frozen in the lake
and posed for some cute photo's of him and Ruby!

Today was another day filled with snow, oh how I love snow!

Lucky for us we live in a beautiful place with lots of trails so you can take full advantage of the beauty!

 I love this place!

GOAL: be active!!!

I had to return a movie to the library today, so instead of driving I walked. I live about 1.5 miles from the library (one way). The walk there was pretty lame. It looked a lot nicer out than it was, the air was super chilly and the wind was blowing. I didn't wear a hat so my ear got super cold, I wanted to cry. Once I got to the library I stood inside for a while to let my ears warm up. As I was leaving the library I remembered a trail in the woods. I decided to take it since it would be out of the wind. Jack totally loved it cause he didn't have to be on his leash and could run around like a crazy dog.

HIGH TIDE

My husband is REALLY REALLY into motorcycles, if you couldn't tell, and has a blog for other motorcycle enthusiasts to read. Its about Juneau (or Alaska in general) and he features places to go and things to see on it. He decided to feature HIGH TIDE tattoo on there. The owner and employee's of HIGH TIDE are good friends of my husband and I. So the other day while it was sunny out we went down and took some photo's of them and around the shop. I used Picnik to make a banner for my husbands blog and though I would share it here.
